PA Telework Program

The following guides can assist employees and supervisors with navigating the process to participate in the PA Telework Program, including having a discussion about telework, submitting and approving requests in ESS and completing required training.
Eligibility
In order to telework on a permanent basis, you must:
- Hold a position deemed eligible for telework by your agency
- Obtain approval from your supervisor
Requests
If your position is eligible and your supervisor approves, you can submit a formal telework request in Employee Self Service (ESS) > Create Telework Request.
Please refer to the Guides section of this page for step-by-step instructions on how to submit and approve telework requests in ESS.
Training
Employees who will telework and supervisors of teleworkers must complete the following training courses in LSO (My Training) in
Employee Self Service within three months of beginning permanent telework.
