Please note that effective March 16, 2020, the Office of Administration’s (OA) Right-to-Know Law (RTKL) Office is closed due to COVID-19. At this time, it is anticipated that the RTKL Office will be closed from March 16, 2020 through March 30, 2020. However, these dates are subject to change and may be extended. As a result of the closure, OA’s time to respond to any RTKL Requests it receives does not begin until the RTKL Office reopens.
Upon the RTKL Office reopening, the Agency Open Records Officer will log any RTKL requests received and provide an anticipated date of response. Note, OA will have at least five (5) business days from the date the RTKL Office reopens to provide a response to any RTKL Requests it receives during the closure of the RTKL Office.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The Governor's Office of Administration strongly supports citizens' right to know, in detail, how their government conducts business on their behalf. Pennsylvania's
right-to-know law provides public information through
agency open records officers. Citizens are urged to directly contact the agencies from which they seek information through the agency's open records officer.
When we receive a request for information related to activities of the Governor's Office of Administration, we make every effort to determine if the requested records are public and if we have, or have control of, them. We will respond as promptly as possible under the circumstances of the request. More information is available in the
Office of Administration's right-to-know policy.
A wealth of up-to-date state contracting information is also available online through the Department of Treasury's
e-Library and the Department of General Services'
Office of Administration
We accept Right-To-Know Law
